Traffic Ticket Payment Options

(For Ruston Municipal Court Tickets Only)

You must pay your traffic ticket before 4:00pm Central Standard Time the day before your court date or appear in court on your court date.  If you miss your court date and have not yet paid your traffic ticket call (318) 251-8614 for instructions.  You will not be allowed to pay your traffic ticket over the phone or online after the deadline.  If you miss your court date, see Frequently Asked Questions on this website.

1) Pay in person – Bring your ticket to the Ruston City Marshal, 401 N. Trenton Street, Room #116, Ruston (Ruston City Hall) between 8-12am and 1-5pm, Monday through Friday.  When paying in person we accept cash, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  A 3% PROCESSING FEE IS CHARGED TO ALL CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS.

2) Pay by mail – Write your money order payable to Ruston City Marshal and mail to: Ruston City Marshal, P.O. Box 1582, Ruston, LA  71273.  Sign the back of your ticket where it indicates "Defendant's Signature" and mail your ticket in along with your money order.  Also include a self-addressed, stamped envelope so we may mail your receipt to you.  We must receive your payment BEFORE your court date in order to accept it.

 

3) Pay by phone - You will need your ticket when paying by phone.  The phone payment center will email a receipt to you after your payment has been accepted.  You may pay with MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover.  Call (844) 544-6308.  The payment center (NCourt) accepts payments for many agencies.  To ensure your payment is applied to the correct agency please tell them you are paying to the "Ruston City Marshal".

4) Pay online – Click on the below "Pay Online" button.  Enter the information from your ticket.  The online payment service will email a receipt to you after your payment has been accepted.  You may pay with MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover.
